John Henry to host Sustainable Growth Conference 2021

On 6th June 2021 John Henry will be introducing some of the leading lights in sustainability at the Sustainable Growth Conference 2021 including very special guest HRH Prince Charles.

Due to the recognition of John Henry’s expertise within the field he has been chosen to host the morning’s lectures.

The conference will demonstrate how Cornwall has taken a lead in understanding and delivering sustainability in the County, connecting to leading changes in agritech, education, health, energy, and reducing inequality, that will deliver a more sustainable future, and with examples of these connecting Cornwall to:

  • G7 including their focus on promoting future prosperity, protecting people’s health and global resilience; building back better to protect the planet, and shared values on democracy and human rights; as well as
  • COP26 and the priorities identified by Alok Sharma for adaptation and resilience, nature, energy transition, accelerating the move to zero-carbon and green finance.

The conference is being held on World Ocean Day, the Tuesday before the G7 starts on Friday, as this is clearly a key issue for Cornwall for food, tourism and floating renewable generation to work alongside the existing solar and wind resources in the County.
